Classic Arman

I call this post Classic Arman for several reasons. The first one being that he is wearing his favorite color - orange!
The second reason is that he closes his eyes and scrunches up his face when he sees the camera....
And third, if he can't get the camera out of his face, he is going to make funny faces at it!

What has Arman been up to? Funny you should ask...

You may be wondering, "What has Arman been up to lately?" Funny you should ask...cuz I was just about to fill you in! Last night, Arman helped his grandma Klar (Nahnee) pack her suitcase and go to the airport. He did a fantastic job jumping inside the suitcase to help make room for more stuff!

Tonight we decided to stick around the house to wait for Grandma to call once she arrived. So, Arman put his Monkey friends on the chair to watch Shrek III. They really seem to enjoy the film! Look at those smiles!

We made pizza for dinner...well, actually Papa Murphy's made it and we baked it! Geez, I sound like a commercial!
After we ate pizza, we decided to work on our winter craft. The craft is to take the holiday cards that we received this year and put them all into a holiday scrapbook. Arman loved playing with the glue stick...
After working on the project for about ten long minutes, the guys (Grandpa Klar and Arman) decided it was time for a snack. Yum yum - are those cookies!?!
That's just a little snippet of what could or did happen on a Monday night....in January! We hope everyone is doing well and we'll do our best to update the blog more often than we have. See you next blog!

A visit with Raija and Zachary

Arman and Mommy went to Ladysmith over the weekend to celebrate a belated Christmas. We were also lucky enough to babysit Raija and Zachary Hammad, who were visiting from California. Raija is four months older than Arman and made the perfect playdate. As you may have noticed in previous blogs - Arman HATES getting his picture taken. I found out that Raija is the complete opposite when it comes to the camera - she's a natural born model! Here'a snapshot of Arman and Raija playing in the hallway...as you can see, Arman was very upset when the camera came out. The funny thing is that right before I brought out the camera, he was just as happy as Raija!

The longer the camera stayed out - the more upset Arman became!
And the longer the camera stayed out - the happier Raija became!!
At the end of the night, Sonja came to pick up her two kids. Below is a picture of Sonja and Zachary. The picture may not show it, but Zachary is the spitting image of Grandpa Jerry, daddy Haitham AND Raija! It's true!!

Back at the Galehdari's house - Arman sits in front of the M&M dish without mommy even noticing how many he is eating....and if you look to the left, you will see mommy with her back to Arman! Sneaky at two!!
I hope to update the blog a little more often than I have as of late - it's been a crazy few weeks for our family. On Dec 27, Mohammad decided that he didn't want to be left out, so he too had surgery. We keep ENT surgeons employed. :-)
