Mardi Gras

This past weekend, the Vedadi crew headed up to Ladysmith for the annual Mardi Gras celebration. Arman went on his first carnival ride and had a blast!
Although his face appears very serious, he is actually having a lot of fun.
Next we took on the horses on the Merry Go Round!!
Aunt Lisa gave Arman a corn dog - what a treat!
We met up with the old high school gang! Pictured below are Jason Busse, Mariam Klar Vedadi and Brad Bradshaw.

Bubbles Bubbles Bubbles!!!

When Arman got home on Friday, there was a huge package sitting by the front door addressed to him. We quickly went inside to open it - only to find a BUBBLE MACHINE inside!
Arman didn't even know how to react at first...but a smile could not escape his cute little face.
The bubble dance!!
Even Mommy had to go enjoy the bubble "bath"!!
Thanks Uncle Donnie!

To celebrate Grandpa Klar's 67th birthday - Arman enjoyed some Corn on the cob!
Who needs cake?
Arman has discovered that eating corn on the cob is so much fun. As soon as I pulled out the corn he started screaming for it. I had to explain that raw corn is not as tastey.

Uncle Darin's birthday dinner at Eastbay in Holcombe.
Aunt Lisa, Arman and Uncle Darin smiling for the camera.
After dinner, we headed over to the Elling's cabin in Holcombe. Arman and Raija enjoyed playing "mom" and "dad" to Raija's doll. Below Arman demonstrates how you can put a finger in the baby's eyes, nose and mouth!Raija does not seem to approve of Arman's parenting skills and tries to take over.
:-)

We spent a few days in Wisconsin over the 4th of July week. One of the days was spent in Hayward, WI visiting Wilderness Walk. This was a favorite of mine as a kid!
I never knew that cows like to butt heads! This was too cute of a picture to pass up.
Hey daddy - did you see these little ponies? Can I ride on one? Please???
After about twenty mintues into our Wilderness Walk excursion, we got hit with a downpour of rain! Arman and I are underneath a covered bridge trying to stay dry.
Even the Mountain Goat took shelter from the rain!
