Just keep Swimming!

Tonight was swimming class and Arman had a blast! After the class, a few of the boys got together for a game of hitting the beach ball. It was all giggles and wiggles!

It was so nice to swim in a warm pool...it made us forget about the cold weather outside.

Looking cute in my PJ's!

Monday night at the Vedadi's is usually pretty quiet. After dinner, Arman ran around in his pj's. The only excitement for the day was when he took one of Misha's treats and teased her by running around the house while waving it in his hands. Finally, Misha corned Arman in his bedroom and he had to throw it to break away from Misha's trap.

What a weekend!!

Friday night we decided to head out to the Mall of America to do some shopping. Arman loved the Banana Republic store so much that the sales clerk even offered him a job! After shopping, we had some ice cream before heading home. Arman LOVES strawberry ice cream (as does his mom)!

Arman had his second ever hair cut on Saturday. He cried and screamed the entire time, but luckily for everyone in the salon, it was over in about three minutes. Thank goodness for Kid's Cuts!

Saturday night was cleaning night at the Vedadi's and everyone chipped in. Arman decided that he would do the vacuuming, as you can see from the picture. If mom or dad even attempted to take it away from him, he would scream and bat us away. 14 months old and already giving his parents a hard time!!

Sunday was jam packed as well. Our neighbors came over for a crepe breakfast and some play time. Arman played with Ryan and Calvin and had a really good time. As soon as they went home, Aunt Lisa and Uncle Darin stopped by. We ordered Papa Johns pizza and ate until our tummies were about to explode! After lunch, Uncle Reza and Grandpa and Grandma Vedadi came over for a visit. We played and played and played! After a 30 minute nap, Arman was energized and off for more running around with all his visitors. Finally at 9pm, mom told Arman that it was time to go to bed. That didn't go over too well, but within five minutes of rocking, he was fast asleep. Mom tried something new tonight. Instead of going to sleep to his lullabies, she put in a waltz "greatest hits" cd. Arman seemed to enjoy the new change of night tunes.

I Love to eat!

Arman was feeling much better today. In fact, he was feeling so good that he stole a slice of bread with jelly from his uncle Reza!

Tonight he had a play date with our neighbor Calvin. At first Arman was very shy and just wanted to hold on tight to mom, but after watching Calvin play with all the toys, he just couldn't resist. By the end of the night, Arman was dancing to music and clapping his hands.

For dinner Arman tried fresh broccoli for the first time. He seemed to like it, but in all honesty, it was doused in cheese! Even mommy had to have some....cheese is her weakness.

:-)

Four more weeks from today and Grandma Klar returns from Iran!

Arman skipped swimming today as he still had some red marks from his rash. We thought the other parents would not like their kids in the same water as the polka dot boy!

Instead of swimming, we stayed at grandma and grandpa Vedadi's for dinner and American Idol! What fun!

I ate a hot dog tonight....I didn't want my normal food....hot dogs are yummy, but mom said that I better not get used to it! Yummers!

Welcome to Arman's World!

Welcome to Day One of Arman's Blog! Arman is a big fan of Elmo, hence the name Arman's World! We like to switch around the words to the theme song, Elmo's World to Arman's World....and he dances around with such joy and pride!

Arman is recovering from a bout of Roseola. He had five days of fever, several days were well into the 105 range. Then on Monday, he broke out in a rash. A quick trip to see Dr Pizey and he was diagnosed. There is nothing we can do now besides wait for the rash to go away in a few days.....and try to handle a very cranky Arman.
